The Laboratoire d'Automatique de Tlemcen LAT, was founded by Decision No. 88 of July 27, 2000.

Currently, it includes 4 teams:


Team ASSNL: Approximation and stability of nonlinear systems (headed by Abdelhak CHIKHAOUI)
Optimal derivative
Study of stability using the optimal derivative
Approximation of nonlinear systems


Team CMD: Control (headed by Brahim Cherki)
Synthesis of observers for nonlinear and hybrid systems
Control of mechanical systems
Modeling, control and observation of anaerobic digestion process

Cryptography using chaos

Graphical representation of a chaotic system

Team CSE: Control of Electrical Engineering Systems (headed by Lotfi Baghli)
This team works on the control of hybrid vehicles and the control of DFIM (double-fed induction machine) for electrical energy production.

Linear Switched Reluctance Motor under construction: Ferromagnetic structure, winding, power electronics and control.

Team AM: AutoMed (headed by Amine HADJ ABDELKADER)
This new team (2016) works on vision and robotics for surgery and also on robotics for safe patient movement
